Nicholas Coutts, ex-Vice President of Global Distribution Channel Strategy at IBM
One of the world’s leading authorities on routes to market, Nicholas Coutts helps clients select the optimum mix of direct and indirect channels and routes to market that will maximize market share, profit and brand objectives.
An expert in the development and marketing of services, he has developed tools, process and services which help companies go to market more effectively and efficiently.
As Former Vice President, Global Distribution Channel Strategy for IBM, he was responsible for channel strategy, development, and the effective use of distribution channels. He joined IBM as Director of Channels and Business Partner Management EMEA from Azlan Group, the pan-European value added distributor of network computing products and services, serving five thousand resellers across Europe.
He has a master’s degree in economics from Kings College, Cambridge. Nicholas is a committee member of The Dialogue Trust, which supports the application of the median group to promote dialogue with prisoners and with commun.
During Projectics 2006, as a key-note speaker, he addressed the issue of the “routes to Market”.
